Stereo Channel Swap

Swap the first/left and second/right channels of exactly two-channel audio and export WAV.

What this tool does

Channel swap changes channel placement only. It does not alter duration, sample rate or sample values other than exchanging the two channels.

How it works

Audio is decoded with the browser Web Audio API. Processing is deterministic and local in the browser. Generated audio exports are 16-bit PCM WAV; marker exports are text sidecars.

Limitations

Browser codec support varies. Files that cannot be decoded are rejected. This utility does not claim mastering, forensic analysis, certified metering, or restoration beyond its stated operation.

Privacy

Processing stays in your browser for this tool. The selected file is not intentionally uploaded by this page.

FAQ

Does it change the original file? No. It creates a new export. Does metadata carry over? WAV processing exports do not preserve source metadata.
